Tuesdays are like Molasses – RC ’66 Ford Bronco understands

For myself and many others, Tuesdays can sometimes meander along like an endless drum-roll of stabled eagerness that’s slooowly accumulating as the week’s assemblage of inevitable hurdles progress into view. You’re ‘going’, but you’re being careful and mindful at the same time. Believe it or not, I think I’ve actually stumbled across the vehicular-equivalent in video form that captures this strange hump-before-the-hump feeling… albeit, in a miniaturised state of a normally-sized world.

Some of you keenly-eyed folk may have seen the recent autoblog of the frantically zipping ‘Wraith’ RC from Headquake creations, but I’m guessing that most didn’t take the time to glance through this fella’s other RC creations. Namely those of the meticulously handmade (from wood..!) Fargo pickup and this very ’66 Ford Bronco 4×4.

A life-sized one - looks like fun

At first, I was hoping that this was going to be a slow-motion cat-chase through the woods, but the cat obviously couldn’t be arsed to care… very cat-like. Instead, we’re treated to a beautifully captured HD excursion through the trials and challenges of an almost eerily life-like scaled-down version of the real thing. Really, we haven’t lost our marbles here at AI – Give this a watch, marvel at the lovely attention-to-detail (the driver steers too – neat..!),  the camera angles and the, er, raw sound (strange how alluring it is). Giggle at the fact that you’ll probably find yourself rooting for the Bronco when that final hill throws up a particularily nasty challenge.
